We recommend washing all cotton garments on a short COOL cycle before first wear, including both plain and printed dresses. Please note this does not apply to our velvet pieces
All BLACK cotton pieces should be washed on a cold cycle separately, as colour may transfer for the first few washes. Avoid wearing with light colours incase of transfer.
As our garments are made from natural, sustainable materials, slight variations in texture and finish may occur, adding to the unique character of each piece. A small amount of shrinkage may occur after the first wash and is normal, due to the nature of cotton and is to be expected. This will not affect wear.
For velvet styles, we recommend dry cleaning only, or gentle spot cleaning at home when needed.
We do not recommend tumble drying or harsh ironing, instead hang your Sonnetry pieces to dry and light steam when needed.
Each Sonnetry piece is thoughtfully crafted using premium delicate fabrics and trims. To ensure your garments remain beautiful for years to come, we recommend handling and caring for them with love and attention.
All of our garments have a lead time of 4-6 weeks and once our stitch witches have sewn the last seam, your order will go through quality control and will then be shipped to you.

We ship WORLDWIDE using a range of couriers with express shipping.
Due to all of our items being bespoke, made to order pieces, we sadly cannot accept returns.
If in the rare chance something was wrong with your garment, we will of course make sure it is amended.

Depending on your location, yes, you may pay import fees to receive your Sonnetry garments. Unfortunately this is beyond our control, and we highly appreciate every single order we receive from you international angels.
If this is a concern, please check your local procedure on imports, as we cannot be liable for any of the fees you may incur.
For our valued customers in the USA, orders will be subject to tariffs of 10% of the item’s value.
Royal Mail have just implemented a system in which the sender can pay the 10% tariff up front, and this has now been added on to the item cost for each product on our website for American customers and there is no more charges to pay upon delivery.
Please note ~ if your order value exceeds $800 / £595 your garments will be posted separately, this is due to being unable to pre pay tariffs over this value.
